Yellow Poppies, Quail Linen Pillows, Upcycled Materials, Spring Summer Decor

Bold and punchy color on linen makes these little throw pillows extra special. I created them using a couple of vintage tea towels that a friend of mine was looking to offload. I am very pleased with the way they turned out!
- The fronts were cut from a vintage tea towel. The 14" pillows feature a pair of blue quail at center. The 12" pillows feature a field of bright yellow poppies surrounded by foliage.
- The backings were cut from a subtle plaid that I felt compliments but doesn't steal away from the majestic patterns on the fronts.
- You have the option to purchase the pillow covers only OR the covers with inserts inside to make a complete pillow. I have used feather down pillow inserts for the photographs. If you choose to purchase the pillow cover with insert, that is what you will receive.
- I have two 14" pillows with the Quail at center in stock and two 12" pillows with just the poppies in stock. It was a little tricky setting up this listing on Etsy because of the quantity settings. I only have two of each size, not 4 as the listing can mislead you to believe. However, you can purchase 2 pillow covers only or 2 complete pillows in each size and that is why it appears that there are 4 in each size available.
- These can be hand washed but should be ironed while still damp.
- All of the pillow covers for sale here at Smokin’ Tweed are made using a serger machine and reinforcement stitches are added inside the back flaps for extra durability. All pillow covers are approximately 1 inch smaller than the size stated so that when the pillow forms are inserted, the covers fit snugly and don’t sag.
