A classic style vest with a houndstooth pattern. How pretty would this be for your early Spring wardrobe? This was once a blazer and now has been altered into a vest/waistcoat.
Wear this to dress up or down, it doesn't matter. It's one of a kind, altered by me, into a timeless piece that's a little bit more versatile than the blazer jacket it once was.
- Vintage by Bronson of California. Probably from the 1970's.
- There are no fiber labels but this is probably a wool blend. The fabric is very textured.
- The colors of the houndstooth include a dark and light gray, burgundy and white.
- Features pockets at the hip areas that flap over and button down.
- Sleeves have been removed and I have hand sewed a simple burgundy calico bias tape inside of the armholes to create this vest.
- Fully lined in blue acetate.
- This vest will come to you dry cleaned and ready to wear.
- This vest is designed to fit closely to the body.
- Excellent vintage condition.
-The label states size 9-10. Since we all know that vintage garments were sized differently, I suggest you check measurements before considering.
Measurements while buttoned up and laying flat:
Chest (armpit to armpit across bust): 18” or 36" around.
Length (from neck to bottom at the back of the vest): 25.5”
Waist: 16” or 32" around.
