Schnauzer Dog Tweed Pillow, Gray Herringbone, Recycled Materials

I created this Schnauzer throw pillow using recycled herringbone tweed taken from vintage clothing that had seen better days.
- Colors shades of gray herringbone wool taken from blazer jackets.
- I cut a tab off of an old woolen piece of clothing and added it to the left side, topped with a vintage brown leather button.
- I added a row of stitching down the center seam.
- The Schnauzer dog was cut from felt and sewn on by machine.
- The inside of the front cover is lined to give the pillow cover more body.
- The backing is a black wool that I salvaged.
- You have the option to purchase the pillow cover only or to purchase the cover and insert as a complete pillow.
- This pillow cover will fit on a standard 14" size insert. I have used a duck down insert for the photos.
- Dry clean or spot clean is recommended. Gentle hand wash is okay too.
- Ready to ship.
- All of the pillow covers for sale here at Smokin’ Tweed are made using a serger machine and reinforcement stitches are added inside the back flaps for extra durability. I make my covers approximately 1 inch smaller than the size stated so that when the pillow forms are inserted, the covers fit snugly and don’t sag.

I have used a feather down pillow insert for the photos and if you order the pillow with the insert, that is what you will receive.
